Product Introduction
The Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) Resistance Tester is designed to evaluate the resistance of PET bottles to stress cracking caused by sodium hydroxide solutions. Hydroxide ions are one of the primary factors contributing to stress cracking in PET bottles, while material accumulation in the bottle base can reduce mechanical strength and increase the risk of failure, particularly in carbonated beverage bottles.
By applying controlled pressure and using a sodium hydroxide solution, this device enables manufacturers to evaluate bottle resistance under realistic test conditions.
