The preform mouth gauge is a precision quality control device designed and manufactured to quickly assess the internal dimensions of the mouth of PET preforms. Controlling the dimensions of the preform mouth is one of the most important steps in the production process, because any deviation from the standard dimensions can cause problems in the blow molding process, capping and sealing of the final bottle.
