The can open flange measuring device is designed and manufactured to accurately control the width and uniformity of the flange in metal cans. The can end flange is one of the most important factors in the quality of the sealing operation (Double Seam) and any inconsistency or change in its width can cause defects in the stitching, reduce the strength of the sealing and increase production waste. This device, using a digital measuring clock with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, allows for quick and accurate measurement of the flange width at all points around the can and helps control the quality of beverage, canned, oil and aerosol can production lines.
