Our review
According to the review conducted by our company, there is a test in the standard that determines whether the bottle has been properly formed. When a preform is blown in the blow-molding machine, uneven material distribution can later cause the bottle to burst. In this test, the bottle is cut at several specific points according to the mold designer’s map. These cuts are made using a hot wire. The sections are then weighed on a scale, and if the weight exceeds the standard, it indicates improper material distribution, which is reported to the blow-molding unit.
Our solution
The bottle cutting machine is a device designed to cut polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles used in the food industry with standard capacities and various shapes. It is used in quality control laboratories to evaluate bottle sections. Using this machine, a bottle can be cut at one to four points, and the cut sections are then weighed to determine the material distribution within the bottle. Proper material distribution in such containers is crucial for both the storage of contents and transportation or warehousing. Additionally, the cut sections can be dimensionally evaluated, allowing the thickness of different sections to be measured and assessed.
The story of this device
The problem faced by bottle manufacturers is that after the bottle is filled—especially with carbonated products—heat or internal pressure, which increases over time, can cause the bottle to deform or even burst. This issue arises from uneven material distribution in the bottle, indicating that the bottle was not properly formed in the blow-molding machine and that the machine settings were incorrect.
